When I used salmon oil to reduce my back pain, the resulted problem was far, far worse then when it had started. Since then I haven't used anti-inflammatories just out of fear of waking up and not being able to move. I think the pain is somewhat helpful unless its overwhelming, then other things like drugs might be necessary. Just this past week I had some excessive neck pain and a period of about two and a half days of constant dizziness. It was starting to worry me but then after a bunch of cracking the dizziness went away and my neck wasn't quite as sore.

so what exactly did salmon oil do to you?

how would they give support though?

He is pretty big, but we never see each other now.

That doesn't stop the cracking which I blame him for though…

I think the sound (release of gas) has alot to do with it.

I've only been cracking for three years now, it gets worse if I don't do regular strength and cardiovascular exercise.

With time, all will crack except pinky toes.

I have to confess that I have bizarre fantasies about devices and situations that will crack my back, and sometimes I obsess about them. I dream of being in a medieval torture rack or being chained between two cars and pulled apart until my back totally cracks.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. As a kid when I watched Addams Family re-runs my favorite part was when Gomez was on the rack. When Lurch would turn the wheel & there would be a loud crack & Gomez would get this relieved look on his face. I once had my older brothers tie my hands to a fence post and tie a rope around my ankles & start pulling to try to get my back to crack like that. Unfortunately our mom saw us & kinda freaked out, so I never did get that satisfying crack.

Since first posting this, my back does not pop very well anymore with someone walking on it. I have now moved to laying back down on an arm rest of the couch with my spine perpendicular to it. I let my body weight do the work and I get some great pops.

Maybe because you are keeping it in a stiff position for a long period of time?

I'm sure that's it. I think the right one does it most because I can move and rest the left one more while driving.
