RE: Autumn / winter cracking
My urges to pop my joints are typically consistent unless I'm anxious.

RE: The sacrum.
I actually crack my sacrum around 2-5 times a day, depending on if it needs it. I usually need to crack it every time I stand up after sitting for long periods of time, otherwise it feels like something is stuck there. What I do is when I stand, I stand feet together. Then with my pelvic and gluteal muscles I squeeze and push my hips forward and that usually cracks it. It feels so good.
Welcome to the forum!

RE: Aloha no!
Aloha! Avid joint cracker here! I'm glad I came across this forum! I've been a crack addict for quite some time lol. I crack my knuckles, toes, ankles, upper back, shoulders, and my personal favorite, my sternum. I used to be able to crack my neck, but ever since I had an injury that stopped.
Anyways, glad to meet ya'll!
Mahalo!
Hi! That's interesting that you used to be able to crack your neck but can't now. What injury did you have?
I'm the opposite - an injury caused my neck to start cracking lol

RE: Avid popper!
I pop everything! So I'm glad I've found a place to talk to others about it. One of my earliest memories is talking to a hospice nurse. I was sitting in my neighbor's floor popping my toes. My mother was caring for the neighbor and the nurse was visiting. The nurse said to me while my mother was out of the room that popping joints causes severe arthritis. I knew I had been popping my joints for as long as I could remember and sometimes they would pop accidentally. I asked her if that still counts. She said, "not really. Just try not to pop them." And inside my child brain, I made the decision then and there that she was lying and I would never give up popping my joints. I'm nineteen now. That's enough about me! Please feel free to introduce yourself.
Which of your joints pop involuntarily? My neck does really often it's so annoying

RE: Base Thumb Joint
I frequently pop the joint which serves as a junction between my thumbs and wrists. Does anyone else do this? I do it by putting my index finger on the inside of the middle joint of the opposite thumb. Then I put my thumb on the joint by my wrist and press. It is a very loud and clear pop.
Nope, does it feel good?
