      Hi Camille,

I have do similar work and have been doing for over 20 years. I have found that adding some weight training has helped a lot with any back pain or soreness. Along with exercising other parts of my body, I do these to strengthen my back:

https://exrx.net/WeightExercises/GluteusMaximus/BBDeadlift (Don't go heavy at first)
      https://exrx.net/WeightExercises/BackGeneral/DBBentOverRow
      https://exrx.net/WeightExercises/LatissimusDorsi/BWPullup
      https://exrx.net/WeightExercises/E***torSpinae/WtBackExtension

and some abominal work like crunches.

I have found that as my body strengthened, my posture and pain and soreness improved.

Along with this some active exercising like walking, jogging or biking also helps.

      Some stretches that may help:

      https://exrx.net/Stretches/E***torSpinae/Lying
      https://exrx.net/Stretches/RectusAbdominis/Kneeling
      https://exrx.net/Stretches/E***torSpinae/Cat

Some supplements that may help are Taurine, Vitamin C, Vitamn D3 and Glucosamine W/Tumeric.

Hopefully, this helps give you some ideas. I'm sure there are others on here that have good ideas also.

Hello! I really like to crack my right thumb and index because it is super loud, i crack my knuckles or fingers in general all the time. The neck and back are typically the most satisfying for me, however

I can pop most every joint (particularly my right thumb and ankles), my knee only pops during dance though, and my jaw rarely ever pops.

I know this reply might be useless since the post is so old, but I would think an elbow crack would be the most impressive. A nice slow lock and pop. Looks cool too.

      @Tailbonecracker
I do this, too. I refer to this as "cracking my b**t". It's very satisfying. It usually happens when I'm sitting at my desk at work. I slouch down, stretch my legs out, and squeeze my b**t. I do sometimes, like some other joints as well, get the feeling that it needs to crack, but can't quite get it done. I don't think I've ever felt pain in this crack, though.

      Hey Marty,
      Which do you enjoy more?

      -self initiated cracks
-random cracks that occur by themselves
-cracks initiated by a 3rd party

I myself hate random self-occuring cracks becasue they seem to hurt.

I crack all the same ones as you, along with both ankles (my 2nd favorite crack, so deep and powerful!) and I can only get my left shoulder occasionally (like twice a year by accident, I can't do anything to make it happen), but I have SUCH a hard time getting my back to crack! My sister is the only one who can do it, and she puts so much force into it that she's nearly hurt herself on several occasions. Even chiropractors can't get the same multiple, deep cracks in ONE spot that my sister can - it's truly like 6 cracks. I do the regular laying-on-the-floor and she pushes up and down my spine, and nothing happens. Then at about the bra strap area of my spine, she uses all her weight into the push - thrusts down and then wiggles it up and down a bit without lifting up. Seriously, 6 cracks that change my mood and comfort for days. Chiropractors will get a few tiny cracks from my back because they just won't put in the same amount of force that my sister will. I've had several chiros say that the little cracks are just as important as the big cracks - sorry, I don't buy that.

Anyway, welcome to the forum! 😄 I'd love to hear how you get your back to crack - I'm always trying to figure out a way to do it myself!
