RE: AMazing Neck Crack
That sounds awesome! The other day I had a pretty similar experience. I woke up, and immediately my neck felt stiff and sore, and I couldn't really move it towards my left hand side.
I tried heat, ice, massage: nothing worked, and it was really getting me down. I then, at the end of my tether, decided to crack it.
I cupped my chin with my left hand and grabbed the hair on the back of my head with my right.
I pulled it, much harder than I usually do, and got 7 really deep cracks, all the way from the base of my neck to the tip. They started off as big clunks, and progressed to smaller and smaller high pitched pops up the neck. It felt incredible! My neck was then fine for the rest of the day

RE: Allergies
I'm allergic to nuts, but I don't think that has had any bearing on my joint cracking seeing as I've had it all my life, whereas the cracking is only 4 years or so. It would be interesting if we could get a doctor on this site, maybe they could help a little bit.

RE: Jaw Cracking Makes You Beautiful!
That ncr video looked good, but at the same time terrifying! I'm not sure I'd want a guy shoving a balloon up my nose, no matter how good it was for me.

RE: Howdy
Yes, although it takes quite a while. When I gave up cracking, it took about 1 month to stop feeling the need. But obviously there must have been something there, or else I wouldn't still be posting on this site!

RE: Cracking your elbow?
I can do it, it's quite a simple move actually.
To crack your right elbow, cup the outside of your right hand with the left, so they are perpendicular with the right hand facing down and the left at a right angle, facing away from your body.
Then, straighten your right arm and flex it out against the joint, whilst pulling your left hand in towards your body
You should feel a huge release in pressure as the joint cracks, and it really does make a huge sound. If you're lucky, you may also get a small wrist pop at the same time

New Crack
I discovered a new crack the other day in a place I didn't even know it was possible to crack!
It's some kind of bone in the hand, and you crack it by gripping your right hand with your left so your thumb rests against the bony protrusion above your wrist furthest away from the body.
The rest of the hand 'cups' the right hand so the fingers are perpendicular lying across the top of the hand.
You then kind of tense the side of the hand whilst pushing with your left thumb and lifting the wrist, making a loud click in the hand that can be repeated over and over.
It doesn't hurt, but then it doesn't feel great either, so I was just curious about people's thoughts on this.

Site is inactive
It seems like lately the only people posting on this website are bots.
Back in the day there used to be new posts every day about cracking topics, and bots were moderated, but these days it seems there are no human users left on this site. I can see a lot of anonymous on here, why not make an account, it only takes a minute! You would be contributing to keeping new posts up, as I'm sure you're all as sick as I am of having to look back at old posts instead of new ones to read! I just don't want to have to keep it going by myself… -
RE: I found a new way to crack my back.
Top. We also do another stretch where one lies on their back and brings the left knee to their chest, keeping the right leg straight. Another person holds the left thigh and pulls it across the body, to the ground on the right side. The person on the floor keeps their back on the floor, and as the leg is lowered you get a drumroll of cracks throughout the back. Then repeat for the other side.

RE: I found a new way to crack my back.
I play rugby, and before we play matches we stretch out muscles and joints, including our backs. One particular stretch involves two people, back to back. They both link elbows, and one bends forward whilst the other relaxes, pulling the other person up so they are, in effect, lying on their partner's spine. When I do this I relax my whole spine and the fulcrum of the other's back and the gravity crack it all the way along, which feels incredible.

RE: Neck, wrists, knuckles, ankles, hips…maybe more
Hi cracking_up,
I too play a contact sport (rugby) which has enabled me to crack many more joints than would otherwise be possible. One particular tackle, in which I broke my coxics, has left me able to crack that area just by tensing it and bending backwards slightly. My knees and elbows also crack daily from previous broken bones, and rather than be irritating, this actually helps me release some of the pain I get there and feels fantastic. -
Elbow Cracking
I have recently developed the ability to crack both elbows. They feel incredible, as well as being ridiculously loud. They are now my 3rd favourite crack, after back and neck. Can anyone else do this, or am I the only one?

RE: I can crack my kneecaps
I crack my back simply by bending backwards on a chair, with the part of my back that needs to be cracked on the top of the chair. You must simultaneously exhale and relax the spine to do this.

RE: How do i crack my elbow?
To crack my right elbow I put both hands behind my back. I then cup my left hand over the outside of the right hand, with the fingers curling round to the back. Straightening the elbow whilst putting pressure on the wrist usually cracks it nicely. For the other elbow, just repeat on the other side.

RE: Crack in my chest and trunk
I get a series of cracks in my sacrum (the second one you described). To do do this I do one of two things:
1. I make my hand into a fist, place it at the base of the spine and then push my lower back forward and my upper back backwards.
2.I sit on a chair and slide down until the sacrum is hanging over the edge of the chair. I then suddenly relax my spine whilst continuing to slide.
Of these no. 2 is hands down the best way, as no. 1 will often result in discomfort and pain. -
RE: Fghfh
What I don't understand is why you are on this forum. Whenever anybody tries to help you in any way, there is always an excuse of some sort or more moaning. You should take in the advice you are given, instead of spamming every message board on this site and bringing every discussion back to your neck.

RE: Fghfh
Seriously, you are ruining this forum for others with your selfishness. People come on this website to find things out and read interesting posts, not to look at your pathetic little speeches about how 'a punch in the back of the neck has ruined my life.' Boohoo. Grow up and get some balls, you are an a***t for Christ's sake.

RE: Hello World! I thought I was the only one!
Going on about this thing with the neck is really depressing. You are killing this forum with your negativity, go and get some help and refrain from posting exactly the same thing on every forum on the internet.
