    • RE: Cracking your elbow?

I can do it, it's quite a simple move actually.

To crack your right elbow, cup the outside of your right hand with the left, so they are perpendicular with the right hand facing down and the left at a right angle, facing away from your body.

Then, straighten your right arm and flex it out against the joint, whilst pulling your left hand in towards your body

You should feel a huge release in pressure as the joint cracks, and it really does make a huge sound. If you're lucky, you may also get a small wrist pop at the same time ๐Ÿ™‚

    • RE: AMazing Neck Crack

That sounds awesome! The other day I had a pretty similar experience. I woke up, and immediately my neck felt stiff and sore, and I couldn't really move it towards my left hand side.

I tried heat, ice, massage: nothing worked, and it was really getting me down. I then, at the end of my tether, decided to crack it.

I cupped my chin with my left hand and grabbed the hair on the back of my head with my right.

I pulled it, much harder than I usually do, and got 7 really deep cracks, all the way from the base of my neck to the tip. They started off as big clunks, and progressed to smaller and smaller high pitched pops up the neck. It felt incredible! My neck was then fine for the rest of the day ๐Ÿ™‚

    • RE: Allergies

I'm allergic to nuts, but I don't think that has had any bearing on my joint cracking seeing as I've had it all my life, whereas the cracking is only 4 years or so. It would be interesting if we could get a doctor on this site, maybe they could help a little bit.

That ncr video looked good, but at the same time terrifying! I'm not sure I'd want a guy shoving a balloon up my nose, no matter how good it was for me.

Yes, although it takes quite a while. When I gave up cracking, it took about 1 month to stop feeling the need. But obviously there must have been something there, or else I wouldn't still be posting on this site! ๐Ÿ˜„

    • New Crack

I discovered a new crack the other day in a place I didn't even know it was possible to crack!

It's some kind of bone in the hand, and you crack it by gripping your right hand with your left so your thumb rests against the bony protrusion above your wrist furthest away from the body.

The rest of the hand 'cups' the right hand so the fingers are perpendicular lying across the top of the hand.

You then kind of tense the side of the hand whilst pushing with your left thumb and lifting the wrist, making a loud click in the hand that can be repeated over and over.

It doesn't hurt, but then it doesn't feel great either, so I was just curious about people's thoughts on this.

    • Site is inactive

It seems like lately the only people posting on this website are bots. ๐Ÿ˜ข
Back in the day there used to be new posts every day about cracking topics, and bots were moderated, but these days it seems there are no human users left on this site. ๐Ÿ˜ž I can see a lot of anonymous on here, why not make an account, it only takes a minute! You would be contributing to keeping new posts up, as I'm sure you're all as sick as I am of having to look back at old posts instead of new ones to read! I just don't want to have to keep it going by myselfโ€ฆ

    • RE: I found a new way to crack my back.

Top. We also do another stretch where one lies on their back and brings the left knee to their chest, keeping the right leg straight. Another person holds the left thigh and pulls it across the body, to the ground on the right side. The person on the floor keeps their back on the floor, and as the leg is lowered you get a drumroll of cracks throughout the back. Then repeat for the other side.

    • RE: I found a new way to crack my back.

I play rugby, and before we play matches we stretch out muscles and joints, including our backs. One particular stretch involves two people, back to back. They both link elbows, and one bends forward whilst the other relaxes, pulling the other person up so they are, in effect, lying on their partner's spine. When I do this I relax my whole spine and the fulcrum of the other's back and the gravity crack it all the way along, which feels incredible.
