Sometimes it can be a bit sweeter when you have to work for it. I used to have the greatest times with my elbow sand knees because I would wake up and pop joints that had been waiting for about 8 hours.

Joint cracking over time
I've noticed that some of my needs to crack my joints lessen as I continue to pop and crack. I first had a problem where I would rotate my arms every morning for a GREAT pop of my elbows… that soon left and I started needing to pop my knees in the morning this is gone.
Has anyone else seen this happen, I'll keep you updated if I lose the need to pop anything else.

RE: Car Journeys
As an aside I was popping my knees (don't ask) in my mom's car while my dad was driving on the interstate and knocked the drive shift thingy into neutral… I quickly grabbed it in put it back in drive. Additionally I was popping my neck while my dad was driving my grandma's car and I hit a button that changed the speed from mph to kph. We were pretty scared until we got it back to mph.

RE: Do you keep jointcracking a secret?
My brother thinks I'm really weird, he says nothing really pops, and when it does it hurts. Mostly it's my knuckles and neck in public, it gets to the point where I'll be talking to someone and have to say "hold on," then pop my neck several times and resume the conversation.

Everything but 4. I guess that leave me with a 7–the number of perfection.

RE: Does anyone go to a cracker?
I meet with one once a month, he gets my upper back and neck, and it feels really good for the rest of the day… although I do have to continue popping it that day. I find that if I don't see my chiro in awhile, popping my next starts to hurt a bit, and I'm not as successful at it.

RE: Joints needing to snap back into position
Possibly, I know I've pretty much eliminated my ability to pop my knee in the morning by sleeping with a pillow between my legs. I think I was popping my knee back in place when I was getting up in the morning. It used to be a loud crack, now it has lessened, and I crack my knees in different ways.

RE: Not spending enough time engaging in physical activity?
I'm not sure. I get a lot of exercise but because of my eating my over weight. Of course, my cracking problems seem to hinder in some ways my ability to exercise.

RE: Hello
Thanks, I think I crack more while I'm here because I'm thinking about it. Well, I think I better go to bed. It IS 4:00 am.

RE: Concentration
I have a lot of trouble with reading and finding a comfortable position.
In bed: I'll start with my legs crossed looking down, then sprawled out belly down looking toward the book, finally I'll end up laying back and reading the book while holding it up above me.
In a chair: I have to constantly pop my knees as I use them to hold the book up, if I use a footstool my legs fall asleep.
On a sofa, pretty much the problems of a chair + bed + coffee table is too low to read a book off of. All I have to say is stick to it, I will often crack my next every 3-5 pages, and I read pretty quickly. I also have a problem with slouching–which makes me crack my back a lot, while not slouching causes back pain.
