I've never discussed it with anyone at length. The only brief comments I've made have been in response to others' observations. With a childish exception that I shall withhold here

My brother thinks I'm really weird, he says nothing really pops, and when it does it hurts. Mostly it's my knuckles and neck in public, it gets to the point where I'll be talking to someone and have to say "hold on," then pop my neck several times and resume the conversation.
