Hi all.
i am a new member of joint crackers, and pleased to find a community that can hopefully share information on joint cracking matters, as my internet research has not been overly productive.
im 23 and my joints, all of my joints crack, all the time, for several years now. from my jaw to my my hips they all crack and pop. my elbows are the worst, i cant move them without them making some sort of noise. sometimes when i go to straiten my arm, it wont and i have to move it a different way for it to completely straiten.
doctors have told me that this is just the way i am, however is does seem to get worse over time.
can anyone relate to this amount of cracking? it would be great for loads of you to write back and tell me you've had this for 30 years and have never had any issues with it. perhaps then i can start to enjoy my cracks and not cringe when they do.
many thanksMy joints crack every time I wake up… HAHA.
I feel for you... I'll never give it up now... My doc says the same thing (just get used to it!)
How funny! lol My little toe is easiest, only because it has one crack only. My three mid-toes all crack two places, which require a twisting motion, which in turn takes me to my big toe- this is an everlasting clunk that drives my boyfriend insane.
Hi! I crack my neck, "regenerating" about five or six times per day. My neck will crack about four to six times each side. I always thought this was bad, as told it was my spine, but now I'm beginning to think otherwise. Is this possibly really my neck? Thank you… P.s. I crack it from side-to-side.
I have noticed that my distals (sp?) are more prone to clicking than cracking in cold weather… Warm weather seams to almost void all distal and mid joint cracking...
Thank you JointCracker!
I have heard that about nutrition also. I also think there may be a colorization between what muscles you use and the joints cracking. I don't know… Thank you for helping me brainstorm!
I remember a time when I could crack my main joint in my index fingers, but now I can't… Now my index fingers always feel weird.
I also remember a time when I could not crack my neck, but now I can, and it's one of the first things I do in the morning. I always feel better now.
Please share your story!
unless its like minus 80, then you could probably crack a blood vessel.
lol
lol x2
Hi! Cold weather, I crack all the time. Warm, not so much.
Wow! I found this site a few months ago, and have enjoyed it so much I finally decided to join. I have learned quite a bit from posts here, so thanks to all for sharing. Being female, I think I may have had it more difficult than my male counterparts in the social aspect of joint cracking, so it is great to see so many women here also. I never knew!
I have been cracking whatever will crack ever since I can remember, which is most everything. My joints will change over time also. My current top favorite is my left big toe. It has always cracked to the side, but for about the past two years it will actually produce a nice strong "klunk" deep down. I have to use my thumb and index finger of my left hand and gently push down and pull sideways at the same time, but the crack/klunk is great! It resets almost immediately, so I have counted upwards of 500 (five hundred) klunks in a day off work.
So it's great to be here, and once again a big thank you to all for sharing!
