I don't think it makes a difference. I've met just as many girls as guys that crack their joints.

RE: Do you like or hate the fact that your joints crack ?
I enjoy it too much to wish it away, some can be really satisfying. Back, knuckles, knees. Only one really bugs me, my right ankle clicks repeatedly when I walk upstairs. I could do without that.

RE: Do people find it strange when they hear your joints crackin
Most people just find it gross haha
I just assume it makes everyone uncomfortable unless they do it around me first. The second someone else cracks a joint, I'll start cracking too. The majority of the time people are probably too polite to say anything, so I take the cautious option and try to avoid it. Those who are vocal about it making them uncomfortable are VERY vocal about.

RE: How many cracks can you get?
I think somewhere in the area of 40, for myself. It's hard to count the clicks when I twist my back because they're so rapid, but I imagine there's roughly four.
My right ankle can click repeatedly as long as I hold the right position, so I only counted that as one.
Pretty low compared to you guys, looks like I need practice!

Hi All,
My name is James, long time cracker first time poster. I knew there had to be forum somewhere on the internet for joint poppers like myself, it just took me a long time and a good few tries to find it.
I've been cracking my knuckles since I was about 8 or so (almost 20 years) and have developed the ability with other joints over the years. I enjoy it a lot, although as I'm sure everyone here is aware, have to be careful where and when I do it so as not to annoy others.
Probably my favorite thing to crack is my right wrist, it makes a great popping sound although doesn't do it often. The best feeling is good solid twist of the spine which will often give off multiple cracks in quick succession.
Enough about me! I'm glad to have found Jointcrackers.com and look forward to getting to know everyone!
