RE: Tips for Beginnersposted in Joint cracking
Hi there…as far as cracking being worth it? I will leave that to somebody else to answer. As far as methods for knuckle cracking go I would have to agree that pulling is my least favortie (and least satisfying). Two other ways that I crack kunckles are by bending my fingers backwards (grab at the tip and bend back toward the top of your hand...my kids like to do that one to me) and my absolute favorite is to make a fist (keep your fingers lose, not curled up) and press your knuckles toward your palm. Just about all cracks get easier as time goes by. Good luck.

RE: Can anyone do this one?posted in Joint cracking
I got that one down…I curl my toes under and roll my foot on the ground in a diagonal direction away from me...I usually get that one and the front of my anke at the same time. Unfortunately it is not an "on demand" crack...it cracks when it wants to.

I've never been to a chiropractor, but I always figured that all the cracking I do is basically that same thing they do…only free.

RE: Back Cracking…Please Help!posted in Joint cracking
I started cracking my back in Jr high. The method that I used was to sit in my desk (the ones with the plastic chair connected) and push against my desk as hard as I could. Then I would slowly slide my back up the top edge of the chair which would crack my upper back fairly well. Not helpful if you can;t get your hands on a desk, but it was very effective for me.
