      What about sam? If he never punched me I would not be on this site, FACT.
      So why cant u blame him

      IT'S NOT HIS FAULT. All he did was punch you in the neck. He's not making sit on the computer, and type your little stories. THAT WAS YOUR CHOICE.
      Not his. All he did was punch you, we've all been punched it's not that bad.

      @Mhillqt:

      well the post was OCD thinking…obsessional repetitive thoughts....but the memory of the event is ptsd.....but ptsd is normally associated with war and other trauma....many people have ptsd to a minor extent over an illness or death, etc....

      dj.....you should bring up the question about meds to your therapist......also.....this board is more about jointcracking, etc.....you might find it more helpful to join an anxiety disorders support group online, etc.....more specific to what you are going thru, etc...

      good luck

      i have joined but they are so inactive, and the ones where i do get replies have banned me.

    • RE: Found another way to crack my back.

      @Patudo:

      Nice one! I've tried it in an ordinary chair but my back won't go. It must be the extra resistance of the weights that does it.

      Do it on a chair with arms. Brace yourself with both of your arms on one arm of the chair put your legs on the other side and just make a quick jerking motion with your back. It should crack from the top to bottom.
      The other method would surely crack your lower back easily!

      @nitrosushi:

      i crack my neck in various ways…

      tensing neck muscles a bit and turning head side to side gets the easy ones
      i used my hand to push my chin from side to side to get the more stubborn ones
      sometimes i use hand on chin + hand on crown of my head to really twist. i fear i might break my own neck and end up on the news...

      **phalanges are the bessssst. my personal favorite is cracking the base of the thumb (right near the wrist). not many ppl can do it on their own but need a buddy.
      **
      lately, i'm digging the sternum crack. such a faint, delicate pop. i can usually do this by pulling both shoulders back, like i'm trying to get my shoulder blades to touch behind my back. this causes my chest to open up a bit and then.. *pop! NOTE - one of the first times i got my sternum to crack, it ended up hurting pretty badly for several minutes. never happened again, but i get worried…

      O*g I know what your'e talking about. When I was younger I jammed my finger, and my dad just comes up to me and goes "let me see your hand" I show it him. Out of no where he grabs my thumb pulls it tell a hear the loudest pop of my life, and he goes feel better? That by far was the best crack IN MY LIFE ever since then I can do it myself by grabbing my thumb with my other hand and pulling.

      dj…..i know you came off your meds recently....but your post really leads me to think you need to go back on them or find a new one......your thought process seems like classic OCD...obesessive compulsive disorder.....your thoughts are intruding and you cant stop them......you need professional help with therapy/meds....ocd is REAL but treatable......please go back to your doctor...GOOD LUCK

      He doesn't have OCD if anything Post Tramautic Stress Disorder.

      Please help me, I am really angry now at what has happened to me in the past few weeks because of him.

      he has ruined my life in so many ways and i want to get back at him, the reason i am depressed now is because of him… if it wasnt for him my neck wouldnt have clicked and then i would have not gone to doctor, so i would have ended up getting the earlier train back, so then i would have sorted something out with someone in sunday not ... See moremonday, so then i would have gone shopping, so then this morning i wouldnt have had to go to tesco, so then i would have seen someone i wanted to speak to near glasshouse so i could have gone back to my room and then left and went back to see this person again, so then when i text them i could have text that i have seen them twice and then so i would have known when my course rep meeting is because i wouldnt have been worrying about this text, so then i wouldnt have had to text someone the room so then i would have called my mum so then i would have seen another course rep coming and i would have hung up and i wouldnt have told her something that has now really upset her.

      its all sam bodmers fault for punching me that my neck clicked and this chain of events has happened and there is absolutely nothing that i can do about it.

      now im really sad and angry at him and i just want to kill myself, i have enough problems which i was just starting to overcome and then these problems come and make things really bad.

      WTH. A mod should see what your doing you deserve an IP ban.

      @tinnamariee:

      I do get these…however annoying and frustrating would probably not be my first choice of words. Mine are generally very painful and debilitating. It's so bad, I have an ongoing prescription of vicodin (painkill/narcotic) and muscle relaxants. :?

      If they put you on vicodin for it then it definitely isn't what he's talking about.
      I sometimes get them in my lower right back and right neck, and most BIG muscles in the right side of my body. They're aren't frequent though.

      I know you want to help me but this is the thing no one seems to know my problem, I don;t understand why, there must be SOMEONE out there that can help me.

      It's anxiety you need to get over YOU'RE AN A***T FOR G*D'S SAKE! I use to have anxiety attacks out of the blue for no reason, and then they stopped. I was fine, and I did get a lot of saliva build up when I had an attack (they weren't serious or anything).

      wow cool…. i know its hard to express feelings online but im genuinely relieved and surprised someone else has this saliva problem.

      how do you get rid of it?
      and did you have problems swallowing and drinking, that it would still stay in your mouth?

      I don't know the anxiety problems just stopped by themselves. I could tell when an attack was coming along because I'd get short of breath really easily. Then I wouldn't be able to breathe for a couple seconds then I could breath, but would be dizzy I fell one time cause of it. After the attack was over my throat would fill with saliva I'd drink as much as I could. I found bread (toast) helped a lot with the saliva when I'd have them, and lots of water/ juice. I no longer have them anymore this was like 3~4 years ago.

      Yeah why isn't the moderator doing anything about this?

      Because if I never got punched then:

      I would NOT moan about something else, i would just be a normal member maybe with just a slightly clicking neck.

      However life happens and this has happened and I am entitled to freedom of speech.

      A moderator SHOULD ban you. A moderator's job is to clean the forum up to benefit the ENTIRE forum. Not benefit a single user. I should know I AM ONE.
      You troll.
      You whine.
      You spam.
      You derail EVERYONE'S thread for YOUR personal gain which is selfish. You must not have an idea what freedom of speech. When you accepted the EULA for this forum you allowed them to ban you. Freedom of speech is retained to government/ privately owned things. A mod can ban you if they want at any time, and you have no say in it!
      Really all you're doing is giving "Sam" more satisfaction by showing how weak, annoying, and gullible you are.
      Get help, but not by derailing everyone elses thread. Get a professional.

      We must all advertise this site on all the other forums we are on, agreed?

      This seems to be what JointCracker did initially and it appears to have worked well.
      But we need more regulars on here.

      I want Blaze back (this is bod8s new account, come on lets have nice long posts again)

      The reason why I refuse to advertise this site on my forums is mainly because of you. If you join my forum all you will do is side track discussion, and whine about Sam. That is also probably the only reason why you want us to advertise this failing forum. So you can have more people to annoy and whine to about your problem.

    • RE: Right side of neck cracking more than left

      @dj100:

      Bullshit.

      I learned that from a video on youtube at a Chiro's office I don't remember the URL, but he would use something like an ultra sound rod hooked up to a computer with a human body it would highlight in different colors how big the muscle is (red meant tense/big) and he said taht this can cause cracks as your spine isn't even. He then did some adjustments then did the same thing, and the muscles were nearly even.
      Edit: Also since you said you wanted my help how do you site when you're on your computer are sitting straight infront or is your neck angled left/right?

      @dj100:

      Chococrazy mentioned this and I have exactly the same, it also feels larger and more tense on the right… why is this?

      Lots of people are born with one muscle larger than the other I think that's why my rigth side is large than my left. Cracking has been known to relieve this and make muscles even out. There is a tool that Chiro's use to find out which muscle is larger than the other, and crack according to that. Very few have the machine though.

      Oh if the twisting normally won't get a crack or leaning back in a chair won't work. Try doing a yoga pose crack. In my fitness class we were doing a yoga pose (one that stretches the back), and it was all quit and serene then I did the pose and CRACCKKKK it was one of the loudest and most relieving cracks i've ever had. What you do is you lay flat down on your back straight as you possibly can get then you slowly bring your back up so you look like a laying down L (one rotation to the left) then bring your right knee up put your hand on the other side of your right knee, and turn.
      If that doesnt work get someone a couple inches taller than you (the taller the better) and cross your arms on your chest. Tell them to bear hug you from behind so their hands are over your, but they're behind you. Tell them to pull their hands toward themselve and lift. your upper, and sometimes lower back will crack.
      DJ-I've been a lurker for sometime, and have realized that you do turn a lot of things towards your self. That's selfish if you ask me :P.

      Agreed - but it was also selfish of sam to punch me in the back of the neck for no reason.
      If he hadn't done that, I would not be here now, so please, blame him not me!

      DJ- I've read through a lot of your posts, and alot of seem to be the same.
      You asking for pity. Nothing else. Whenever anyone gives you advice you turn it down, and just go back to Sam did it not me so blame him for my faults! NO Blame yourself for your emtional faults all sam did was punch you in the neck. I've been stabbed 3 time you don't see me crying over it get over it. Learn to live your life to a full extent. Stop derailing everyones thread also.
      You seem like you want everyone to feel your pain, and that makes YOU selfish not Sam.
      EDIT: have you even tried an invert table, as those are made to aline your spine and add space inbetween them it helps to stop frequent cracking as one reason we do it is to open the space between joints.
      Or you could try one of those neck pump things you put it around your neck and theres a pump and it "lifts" your neck up and feels really good.

      I don't really know my older sister use to do it all the time, and her pops were always loud and obnoxius, but one day when I was like probably 6ish I woke up and my neck popped, been hooked ever since.
      Edit: But I do think I have a muscle deformality in my neck as the right side feels larger then the left, and I get more prominet pops on the right.
