RE: Walking on my back.
This practice is perfectly fine, it is actually one of the Interdisciplinary Fields in medicine.
However you have to be very careful to ensure that entire pressure is not placed, as this could lead to a cervical fracture. Even pressure over a 10cm area is perfectly acceptable.

RE: Neck
It could be that you have pulled the sympathetic nerves too far. They will mitose back into place shortly.

RE: Neck - which side to crack first
I am exactly the same.
If I try to click to the right first, I get a sharp pain that makes me stop, however if I go left to right it is perfectly fine.
I think it is because the sympathetic nerves are located more to this side.

RE: Jaw Cracking, Very Satisfying!!
I love clicking my jaw, it really is difficult to explain the feeling.
And the noise it makes, it practically echoes around the room!!

RE: Hypermobility versus clinical instability
I disagree with the evidence.
It completely contradicts what it says. It states that reduced movement is obtained. However, when a joint is clicked, the golgi tendons stimulate and allows abnormal movement, which one may aruge is temporary, however excessive stretching leads to the stretching being normal..
Like a person with 50/80 blood pressure, quite abnormal. However for the person, having been like it all their life, it is perfectly normal.

RE: Heyy :)
No, not the best look to have..And the explaination too!!
"Oh, it was caused by someone walking on my back"
And a Cervical Fracture is medical jargon for a Broken Neck!!!

RE: Heyy :)
I see, I will have to try that one!! Thanks
And thanks for the welcome as well.
Occasionaly I get someone to walk on my back, that is like heaven. Just avoid the neck area really, the last thing you want is a cervical fracture!!!

Heyy :)
Hi Everyone, how are you all doing?
Having browsed this site for the 5th time, I realised I had a clicking addiction and decided to join!!
Any techniques to increase the amount of cracks would be fantastic, especially the spine. Ther truly is nothing better than those early morning clicks after all!!
