I can pop my right thumb over and again, but sometimes after doing it like a dozen or so times in a short period of time, it will stop and I have to give it like a 5 minute rest. But it's pretty rare that I pop it that excessively nowadays. And I try to avoid popping it around other people too often since the noise can get annoying. My toes and ankles pop pretty often too, but that's more recent (probably from dance).

RE: Hey everyone
I can pop most every joint (particularly my right thumb and ankles), my knee only pops during dance though, and my jaw rarely ever pops.

Joint suddenly starts popping
So yesterday, after I got out of dance, my elbow suddenly started hurting a lot, particularly when I would straighten it. Now, the pain has gone, but it will randomly pop now, but not everytime I straighten it. I can pop most of my joints, but my elbow has never popped that often before. Does anyone know if this is, like, an injury, or has something like this happened to anyone else?

RE: Constant popping in one knuckle
Hey, I'm pretty new here too. My one joint that consistently pops is my right thumb. I can pop it multiple times per minute, and I've been able to do that since I was young. Most of my other joints pop as well, but my thumb is the only one that I can pop that often.

Excessive thumb popping
Hey, so I'm new here, and for as long as I can remember I've been able to pop my right thumb. I have hitchhiker's thumb and I used to be able to pop my left thumb until I banged it really hard on a countertop (at least I think that's what happened, it was a long time ago). Anyway, I pop my thumb constantly, sometimes even resulting my wrist being in severe pain. If I doesn't pop right (i.e. making a noise and feeling correct) I need to try again and again, sometimes twisting my thumb to let air (?) between the joint. I can pop most of my other joints as well, such as when I hear of or see someone referring to their neck I feel the need to pop mine, but none of my other joints cause as many problems as my thumb. Does anyone know what causes this or if there is anything I can do about it?
