Bad Cracks

I have that grinding too, and I don't like it!
It's like your joint is talking to you when everything else is quiet "boy you better be listening cause if you keep cracking me like this I'm not gonna be able to move one inch in 50 years, unless you like the feeling of rusty spoons grinding your spine"freaky grind…
Actually I don't like any of the noises my body makes.

It's like the joint is about to crack…but then it doesn't and it just feels crummy as h**l. I get that if i'm cracking a joint slowly. I used to get it in my fingers, but I guess I'm past that now (years and years past that).
I don't agree with popping elbows or knees, there's too much going on in there, and it freaks me out about 30%.
My knees never used to crack, but now they do it fairly often. My right knee sometimes goes somewhere it shouldn't. It feels like it's off-center and that something is stuck in there. It's not generally painful, but it is very annoying. I kick forward with my foot to the right and then, at the top of the kick, I swing my foot to the left like cracking a whip. It takes normally two to three shots to get it, it only fixes it about half of the time. When things work out it pops back into place and feels nice (especially after feeling like having a tampon stuck in my knee joint for however long).
What I especially don't dig are the people who crack things really fast, like it's an agressive sport.
Sometimes fast is the only way to get it. I do the joint between my metacarpal thumb bones and their carpal bones. It's either fast or unpleasant. With my knees it's fast or not at all. Mind you I hardly look agressive when I do my knees, I probably look like I'm nuts or having a stroke or something.

Sometimes, you try a crack, and it just feels plain wrong.
Like my axis vertibrae. No good.
I like when light women walk up and down my spine,
feels like heaven is pouring through your brain.Sometimes it feels like there's a crack, but you just cant get it,
or are lacking the assistance or technique to properly align yourself back to
symmetry.I don't agree with popping elbows or knees, there's too much going on in there, and it freaks me out about 30%.
Sometimes, I can turn my head from side to side, and I can hear my vertibrae grinding. It's quazi-disturbing.
Sometimes I fear that someone will hand me a joint with crack in it.
What I especially don't dig are the people who crack things really fast, like it's an agressive sport. I think being cautious when doing things like your neck and wrists. Just go slow until you feel the edge and then a little further. That sounds sorta scary on paper.
What about yall?
So you think that there is a lot of stuff going in your elbows and won't crack them but you will crack your spine?! Also, sometimes going slower could be worse as a joint that isn't crackable might make you think that is is.

"grind" is a good word to describe it, i often get that feeling too…
-
yeh actually it is as the weird spasm feelings in the back sometimes are a result of this "grinding"
-
yeah.
i'm sure i posted a thread about other words for "cracking" somewhere, but i cant find it  lol -
