So I have been cracking pretty much my entire body for a long time now. 15 years or so. Neck, back, jaw, fingers, hand, ankles, hips, knees, toes, shoulders… Well you get the idea. Recently though I have been laying in bed on my side and every five breaths or so my back will pop. Its like a pop in the center of my back slightly below my shoulder blades. Anyways, it is starting to make me worry for once about my cracking habit... 8O

I don't have it as bad as that but sometimes when I breathe in , my back pops just below the shoulder blades…basically a combination of weak ligaments and poor posture. Start swimming, do prone extensions and back extensions in the gym...the muscles have to compensate for weak ligaments.
