How can we get more regular posters?

I've noticed we have a really good amount of members, but that only a few of us post here regularly.
Should / how could we encourage more regular postings? -
It is important to enable realisation of this site to more people, like recommend to a friend or something, have a "Recommend this to a friend when signing up" option or something.
