      @Patudo:

Pretty d**n loudly. My elbows are the loudest and they'll at times let off some thumping great explosions when straightened out right.

      what about neck?
      that is the loudest surely?

and if we're talking about ball and socket joints, my knees (when they click) are far louder than my elbows

My ankle and neck are the loudest. Well, depending- sometimes my neck cracks so loudly and "big" that my range of motion is VERY extended. Love it! You never can anticipate it though- just happens. Maybe 3 times a year.

yeah i can get amazing cracks from my neck sometime!

just out of interest, how did your neck start cracking?
for me, it was when this r****d at school punched me in the back of the head for absolutely no reason.
he did it to others too

Actually, I'm not sure. I know I started cracking my back around age 20, but my neck I can't remember exactly when or how. My eldest, though, is 11 and has been cracking his neck for at least a year.

can you imagine how i must feel?
i feel so angry towards the idiot who punched me in the neck, if i could have a punch at him, i know where i'd aim….

I once cracked my neck in one of my classes, and it cracked surprisingly loud… the professor stopped talking and everybody turn to look at me. The guys behind and next to me were horrified. Somebody asked "Are you ok?"

                I was embarrassed

well the good news is, it was one of my best cracks ever! Oh my, I still remember it 2 years later...

Well, it used to be my pointer finger, but now I have a new one, and its the loudest.

I recently figured out how to crack the topmost thumb knuckle (the one that lets your thumb bend). I could never crack this before because my thumb was not flexible enough and it hurt when I bent it forward.

Nonetheless, I mindlessly bent it everyday for years waiting for the day it would pop.

Then one day, it did. and it was REALLY loud. Like, a BOOM. The otherone went a few weeks later. Now, my left thumb goes every 5-10 minutes, and its always this loud.

                          Fun fun.
