Does the weather have an effect on cracking?

A bit of a strange one I know, but I find that in winter when its cold etc. I feel the need to crack a lot.
However when its warm i feel pretty much the same!
I was just wondering how it was for you lot… -

The weather doesn't make me crack more.
It does however produce louder cracks.
I'm thinking that it has something to do with substances around the joints,
the bone tissue in particular.
As with anything to do with the cold, things usually snap, instead of
things bending when exposed to heat.
Maybe the cold cracks are like chain reactions and less controlled. -
unless its like minus 80, then you could probably crack a blood vessel.

I notice my joint crack more during cooler weather.
