She's seven years old and she's started cracking her neck. She just leans it to the side like a stretch and gets a couple loud cracks out of each side. Eeek! I sort of wish she wouldn't. It's something I like, but I still have my doubts as to whether it's hurting her. She says it feels good, and that's what I feel too, and I haven't had any ill effects. I still feel uneasy about it because she's so little and her bones are still growing and I don't really know what's going on in there.

        Ah you see.

I do the same as her sometimes and this morning i got 8 cracks on one side!

My bones are still growing as well but if you want your daughter to stop, you need to stop as she sees you as a role model and if you do something, she will think it is ok and do the same.

        Your choice.

She has to stop if she wants her daughter to stop.

Nope - young people look up to their seniors.

That's why at school we have to act responsible around the school, prefects etc.

I doubt it's doing any harm to her, but if you really want her to stop you should stop yourself. She'll only copy what her father does. Or atleast try and hold out on your cracking until she's nowhere in sight.
