Relationship between back cracking and injury
-
Nope - i am not really like that.
-
mastercracker is right, from my personal point of view i think there is no doubt that some form of damage is done from cracking. i think the debate is how much, if its tiny and as such insignificant then thats what it is, if its major i could believe that too. i also think the type of joint and also which joint it is makes a massive difference to the relative damage it causes.
what you shouldnt be doing is saying that there is a definite link as if you are an authoritative source, like youre a doctor or something. people come here with questions and they might get the wrong idea about your status and take what you say as fact, and for that reason you shouldnt state it as fact. they dont know that you are just a 14 year old kid. i use the word just, not as an insult to your age, but because youre a "just" a person with an opinion, with no actual deep knowledge of the issue.
dont take what he or i say harshly, i just think its best to point to the evidence and let others conclude rather than conclude it for them
thats why in my sig i say i'm not a doctor

I think everybody's view is interesting
I'm no expert on anything
I love to crack. -

lol keep up the jokes they're good
-
Lol of course i will.
I saw it in a film when the people were like cops and shouldn't have done it.
Anyone seen Superbad that reminds me?
-
can't say i have :?
-
Quite a funny film
-
man we have gone so far off-topic in this thread lol!
thats what i like about this forum though, its relaxedso, does getting punched in the back at school cause you to have a rice crispie back? i think yes :x
lol it would be funny if that was an a level biology essay or something and you had to refer to Bod8 in your answer
-
I don't think being punched in the back does - just unlucky if it does.
-
have you ever been punched in the back though?
i mean a proper thump - it really hurts and if thats not what started my neck cracking i dont know what didβ¦but a message to you all - protect your neck and back as much as possible in my opinion thats really important
-
Nope, have been hurt though because of bundles.
-
yeah i guess that is kind of what it was.
man at the extreme end i guess people could break their necks and die during rough sportsβ¦. man... -
Yep - rugby is one.
The thing with bundles is even if you say stop, noone is going to listen. Worst case scenario is that all the older kids and everyone on the field sees and runs and just jumps on you.
-
oh man that must hurt
-
Immensly
